On Tuesday our state legislature held a hearing on the "heartbeat abortion" bill, a bill they are trying to push through the State House that would ban a woman's right to an abortion just six weeks into her pregnancy.
That's before many women even realize they are pregnant.
I am horrified by the actions of our senators and representatives, and I traveled to Columbia to make sure they knew.
Like I said in the video, my biggest takeaway from the hearing was this:
We must elect more women to public office.
