Stop the Bleed Scholarships Update - Exciting News! ([link removed])
The Coalition's Stop the Bleed Scholarship program earlier this year was an overwhelming success! We were so glad to be able to recognize 15 high school students for their incredible essays and videos about why Stop the Bleed is so important. We awarded $30,000 in scholarship monies and distributed 300 Stop the Bleed Kits to schools around the country. If you didn't get a chance to see any of the winning submissions, here's a a great example.

Elyas Masrour, a high school junior from Long Island, NY, was a first place winner with this inspiring video
Based upon this success, we'll be expanding the Stop the Bleed Scholarship program! Once again, we will partner with National Stop the Bleed Day, which will be announcing the details soon.

Here's Something We've Never Done Before! ()
The Stop the Bleeding Coalition is an all volunteer, non-profit, 501c3 organization. We've never asked for donations before but we're going to now. The community we've been able to build over the past two years, now over 6000 strong, has been doing amazing work. We have more we would like to do and that's going to require some modest funding. Please consider donating to help us grow the Stop the Bleed Scholarship program, to provide more free online resources and to support our Stop the Bleed Ambassador program.

Stop the Bleed Ambassador News!
Grace Chaney is a Junior at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and became one of our National Stop the Bleed Ambassadors this past May. She has set a goal to train 250 students by the end of the fall semester and 1000 by the time she graduates.
Grace says, "It is my hope that I can help train 1,000 individuals on campus before I graduate in the spring of 2021. I believe a college campus is the perfect environment to effectively spread awareness about Stop The Bleed and its importance. Thousands of students and faculty come from different states and even countries to Miami University. It is my thought process that by holding these classes on a university campus that a sort of domino effect will happen as course takers take back the information they learn to their home states/countries."
Pictured above is the first class she organized, which took place on 9/10/19, training 50+ students.
