The House Judiciary Committee just voted in support of a formal impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump. This is a historic moment, and we would have never gotten here without your tireless efforts. Together, the Stand Up America community drove over 100,000 phone calls, hundreds of visits to congressional offices and town halls, tens of thousands of peer-to-peer texts, and thousands of emails and tweets in support of an impeachment inquiry. Your hard work paid off. The House not only took notice, but listened, and are taking meaningful steps toward holding Trump accountable. But this fight is far from over. Now is the time to get every member of Congress on the record in support of this historic impeachment inquiry -- and to push for swift hearings and articles of impeachment. The details of Trump's many episodes of obstruction of justice are laid out clearly in the Mueller report. And nearly every day, we're confronted with a new story about how Trump is using his elected office to promote his properties and illegally enrich himself with foreign money and American tax dollars. Yet far too many of our representatives still have not voiced their public support for an impeachment inquiry, despite the overwhelming evidence of Trump's crimes and corruption. It's time for all of our representatives to uphold their oath of office, protect the rule of law, and publicly support the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump.
