Virtual Intensive Outpatient Outcomes: Preliminary Findings from the Butler Center for Research
Hazelden Betty Ford had piloted a telehealth addiction treatment program prior to the novel coronavirus pandemic with a one-year timeline for implementation. As a result of the pandemic, our timeline was accelerated, and we pivoted the majority of our intensive outpatient (IOP) services from in-person to virtual at the beginning of the pandemic. In order to better understand what works in virtual services and for whom, we undertook an evaluation of virtual IOP services.
