This is unacceptable.

You'll recall that Mark Kelly is running for the U.S. Senate in Arizona. He's a decorated astronaut and the husband of former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, who was gravely injured at a mass shooting at a "Congress on your Corner" event.

Now, in Arizona, the leader of the Republican Party said in a fundraising message that they're planning to stop Mark Kelly "dead in his tracks".

That kind of violent rhetoric has no place in our democracy. And especially when we're talking about a victim of horrific gun violence.

There is no doubt that this kind of language puts lives in danger.

I'm asking you to stand up to these dangerous tactics. Donate $3 right now and show them that if they use violent language, we won't roll over. We won't take this lightly.

Onward,

Jeff
