When we talk about building a political revolution, we are not just talking about a single person or a single election. It is about coming together to take on the corporate elite and create a government that works for ALL of our people.

As our country confronts a health crisis with the pandemic and the worst economic decline in a century, that work is more important today than ever before.

We need more progressive leaders in Congress who are prepared to fight for working people and take on the greed and recklessness of the billionaire class. Kara Eastman, Cathy Kunkel, and Donna Imam are all running for U.S. House and will fight for our values in Congress.

With only 15 days until the election, they are counting on lots of people making small donations in order to have the resources required to win. That is why we need to ask:

Cathy Kunkel is an energy policy expert and public advocate who we can count on to take on the powerful special interest groups who will stop at nothing to protect their profits. She understands that we need to create a government that works for everyone, not just the one percent. That's why she's running for Congress in West Virginia.

Kara Eastman came within two points of defeating the Republican incumbent in her district in 2018. Now she is running against him again on a strong progressive platform. She has a very good chance to win in November, but this could be another close race and Kara will need our grassroots support behind her. If we can send her to Congress, she'll fight for the issues at the center of our movement.

Donna Imam understands that our political and economic systems are rigged to benefit the wealthy at the expense of everyone else. She is an engineer who supports a platform of health care for all, education for all, and immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship. Donna is a first-time candidate who knows that the same old, same old establishment ideas won't do. It is time for bold progressive change.

Here is the truth:

If we are committed to continuing our political revolution — and fighting for economic justice, social justice, racial justice, and environmental justice — we must elect candidates like Cathy, Kara, and Donna.

Bernie is working hard to send these great candidates to Congress. But he can't do it alone. It is going to require all of us.
