This is not a drill, John!

I just got off the phone with my friend, Congressman Peter DeFazio, and he needs our help.

He is being attacked on all fronts by his Republican challenger who has been getting the support of dark money Republicans, super PACs, as well as Trump supporters from around the country.

They are targeting Peter because of his progressive leadership. They thought they could sneak up on us since it didn't appear that Oregon had any races in play, but anyone who knows Peter knows you can't sneak up on him. He is fighting back against these attacks and laying out his progressive vision for what this country needs.

But in order to get the word out on the airways, digitally, and with person-to-person connections in the time of COVID, he needs resources and he needs them now.

I have given everything I can legally give to Peter and am working hard to mobilize additional support. I hope you will dig deep.

Getting rid of Donald Trump is our number one priority, but not paying attention in our own backyard, and losing Peter's leadership would be devastating. We cannot allow that to happen, John.

This is a game of inches and we don't want to fall short.
