Friends,

As of today, we are officially one month away from the election, and the polls are showing it's going to be a close one. To top it all off, my opponents have locked in millions of dollars in TV advertising for a final push - so it's crucial we build up resources to counter their attacks.

That's why we've set a goal to raise $30,000 by midnight tonight. My opponents may have wealthy, out-of-state interests on their side, but I know I'll be able to fight back if this grassroots team steps up. We've come this far, and the last 30 days will be absolutely crucial.

Unfortunately, we're not even close to what we need to raise by midnight to stay on track. Can I count on you to pitch in right now to build up our resources in the final month, win this reelection and keep Louisiana moving forward?
