Hi friends.
I don't know how much of the SCOTUS hearing you watched. I simply couldn't. But I saw and heard enough to know that Feinstein's performance was not what we needed.
I've scheduled a meeting with her staff on Wednesday at 10. I fully understand that there are some intense emotions involved here, but my goal is to keep it professional and on point. We're putting the agenda together in the Feinstein channel of Slack --> standupsf.slack.com; if you have anything to contribute please come on in and share. We'd love to hear your thoughts. (And she needs to hear OURS.)
You are invited to the following event:
Senator Feinstein Zoom Meeting
When: Wednesday, October 21, 2020 10:00 AM, PDT
Where: Zoom (link sent upon registration)
Please join us for a video conference with Feinstein Chief of Staff Jim Lazarus and Director of Constituent Services Emily Condon.
Will you be attending?

Speaking of Feinstein...our friend Marvin Feldman just had a great letter to the editor printed in the Chronicle. Check it out here. Nice work, Marvin. More more more!
Anyone know of a secret park? I'd like to have a socially distant meeting/picnic next Sunday afternoon. It's been so long since we've seen each other, and we could probably all use a boost before GOTV. The trick will be finding a grassy area where maybe 15-20 of us could spread out with our own blanket/lunch/chair/whatever. If you can think of a spot that might work, some hidden quiet park in your neighborhood, please let me know.
Manny's Monday quickie phone bank tonight from 5:30-7. Sign up here and let's get those VOTES in, y'all! Fifteen days and we've got this. If that time doesn't work for you, there are options all day every day at grassrootsdems.org. Call. Text. Write. Donate. Eat your Wheaties. Sleep. Repeat. Soon we celebrate.
