I’ve always believed that we are better when we help each other -- it’s how my mom, Carolyn, raised me.

So when we launched this campaign for president I knew from the very beginning that it had to be about way more than just me. It’s about bringing people together to recognize our common purpose and solve some of the biggest problems and injustices in our country.

And since Day One, so many people have stepped up to join us in this effort. Right now, we’re so close to reaching the DNC’s 130,000 donor threshold to qualify for future debates. So we’re setting a goal of getting 5,000 new donors by Monday to get us within striking distance before the next debate lineups are decided.
