Today marks one year since we began our general election campaign for New Hampshire’s First District. We’ve come a long way since winning the Democratic nomination, and we couldn’t have done this without every single person on this team.
You helped us run an aggressive one-on-one voter outreach program because we knew the way to win this critical swing seat was to have in-person conversations about the issues that matter to our communities. We hustled for every single vote -- and I’m proud of our hard work.
We won our race by having conversations focused on how we can fix our broken systems if we work together, and we did it all with the majority of contributions to our campaign coming directly from Granite Staters and without any help from corporate PACs.
We still have so much work to do, but this team has never let me down before. So long as you’re with us, I know we’ll have what it takes to defend this critical swing seat in 2020.
President Trump won the First District in 2016, and he has already campaigned in Manchester this year because he knows that he’ll need the support of districts like ours again if he wants to win in 2020. But we can’t let that happen, and I’ll need you with me to defend this seat.
At the end of the month, we’re filing our third quarter finance report with the Federal Election Commission. We know the media, pundits, and the local GOP operatives running a super PAC dedicated to unseating me will all be paying close attention to our numbers in order to judge how strong our grassroots campaign is.
