We've got everything you need to know about all the candidates Indivisibles,
Will you be watching tonight’s Democratic debate?
If so, you’ll be in good company -- so far, dozens of Indivisible groups have planned debate watch parties.
And, while we hope everyone has a good time, these debates matter. We don’t want Indivisibles to watch just for the entertainment (though we’re sure there will be some great moments), but to have an in-depth understanding of the candidates and the issues they’ll be discussing.
That’s why we assembled another handy debate guide to ensure that everyone knows where the candidates stand and can evaluate their debate performance.
Building these guides takes no small amount of work, but we know it’s worth it. This election is a make or break moment for our movement, and these guides will be invaluable in preparing Indivisibles for 2020. If you want to support that work, please, make a donation to invest in it today:

Based on feedback we’ve gotten from the past few debates, we’ve made revisions to tonight’s guide, including resources to help Indivisibles:
- Make sense of every candidate: who they are, how they’re polling, and what we’re watching for from each of them;
- Evaluate debate performance: understand how the candidates performed and unpack the myth of electability;
- Share your thoughts: let others know how you think the candidates performed via Twitter, videos, or SMS surveys;
- Understand the answers we want to see: see what we hope the candidates say on key issues including democracy reform, immigration, abortion, climate, health care, foreign policy, racial justice, and more; and
- Keep track and take notes so that you can remember who said what, what you thought about it, and what the reactions were.
Right now, the candidates are trying to win us over with their ideas. They’re competing hard to pick up as much support as they possibly can. That gives us the advantage: Indivisibles can make this a race to the top and make sure the winner is the candidate who is most in line with our principles.
That’s why these guides will play a critical role. They will help us make sure that every member of our movement is as informed as possible and can determine which candidate (or candidates!) most aligns with our values.
But making these guides isn’t cheap. It takes a lot of work to provide a comprehensive overview of the candidates: Researchers provide background information on the candidates and the overall political lay of the land. Writers weave that information into narratives of who these candidates are and how they fit into the race. Graphic designers convert all of this work into a final product that looks good and is easy for you to use. Web hosting to keep it live on our site, email and SMS tools to get it into your hands -- every step of the way, this work requires funding.
Since grassroots donors are our biggest single funding source, and we don’t take money from political parties, we need your donation to help us keep making our debate guides.
Please pitch in $5 before the debate starts tonight to fund Indivisible Action, help us produce in-depth guides, and support all of our work in the critical weeks to come.
