We knew from the start that winning in this district wouldn't be easy. Since my very first day in Congress, the DC dark money groups have made it clear that they'll do whatever they can to replace me -- including bankrolling my opponent in a last-ditch effort to turn the race in their favor.

And it's not just special interests: Senator Ted Cruz, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, and even former Rep. Mia Love all wrote Burgess Owens big checks as well.

Look, this just means we need to fight even harder to win this thing.

In 2018, we proved that when we come together and build a grassroots movement, we can win in tough districts like this one -- even against a well-funded opponent. Now we need your help to do it again.
