Dear John,

It's difficult to remember another time in modern politics as turbulent as
this. However one very reassuring thing is the confirmation that the Green
Party and its members are, and will continue to be, on the right side of
history.

And, to continue making our mark, we are selecting our Parliamentary
Candidates at Monday's hustings / ballot. As it would be really helpful to
have an idea of how many people are planning to attend, please do let me
know.

Our website has details of two more WCL events this month:
Hampstead to Alexandra Park walk on Sunday the 15th
Film showing of Do The Math (re the fossil fuel industry) on Tuesday the
24th

August's meeting minutes are attached.
