It’s National Estate Planning Awareness Week
Almost 70% of American adults do not have an estate plan in place to take care of the people and the causes they care about – are you one of them? The week of October 19 starts National Estate Planning Awareness Week, which was established to educate the community about estate plans and their important role in financial wellness.
In recognition of this week, we invite you to create a legacy of hope by including a gift to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in your estate plans.
To assist in your planning, AFSP has partnered with FreeWill to give you and your family a 100% free way to prepare for your future, take care of the people you love the most, and play a crucial role in saving lives and supporting those affected by suicide. FreeWill is an online tool that allows you to write a free, legally valid will online and to support AFSP with a lasting gift that costs nothing today.
Take 20 minutes today to create a world free of suicide and start your free, legal will now!
If you already have a will in place and would like to make AFSP aware that you have included us as a beneficiary, please let us know by completing a planned giving commitment form.
Estate planning is a powerful way to increase your impact for the causes you care about, and is an important element of your financial wellness. Join AFSP in leaving a legacy of hope, and support our mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.
