Donald Trump’s nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court underscores the importance of this election. These are lifetime appointments we’re talking about. Trump’s judges will be making decisions that affect Americans for generations to come, including just a week after the election when the Trump Administration will ask the Court to overturn the Affordable Care Act and protections for pre-existing conditions along with it.
Trump has not only bungled the response to COVID-19 but irresponsibly and negligently helped spread the disease and put more Americans at risk.
And he condemns Gold Star families more forcefully than he’s ever condemned foreign dictators who seek to compromise the integrity of our elections or put reportedly bounties on our troops’ heads.
