With great pride, #TruthTuesdays honored the service of America’s women veterans last week. Led by Will Goodwin of VoteVets, we were moved by the stories of Jackie Gordon (NY-02) and Gina Ortiz Jones (TX-23) – Red to Blue candidates who courageously answered the call to serve and who are answering the call to run for Congress today.
For our upcoming #TruthTuesdays, we will highlight the vital contributions of American union members. In that respect, Congresswoman Jahana Hayes – 2016 National Teacher of the Year and NEA Member – will lead a discussion about Democrats Organizing for Working Families. We will be joined by Red to Blue candidates Carolyn Long (WA-03), a former journeyman with UFCW, and Mike Siegel (TX-10), a civil rights lawyer and former public school teacher.
We can’t say it enough – everything is at stake in this election.
