More bang for your buck!

John,

This year, we’ve seen a lot of headlines about the money flooding in for the Presidential and U.S. Senate races. And while those races are more expensive and need more cash on hand, there’s a way to make your dollar go further:
donate to flippable Congressional and state legislative races!

Here’s a quick breakdown of how trickle up vote-e-nomics works: LGBTQ candidates running at the state and local level represent smaller areas and compete in smaller media markets than statewide races. Because they’re spending less on huge TV media buys, they can dedicate more time and resources to voter turnout and persuasion messaging, either through mail or social media. And as research shows, every pro-equality voter that turns out for these candidates will vote for pro-equality candidates at the top of the ticket too – including in the presidential race.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

Because these candidates need less money to win, your dollar goes further. Help us support these crucial candidates and you will help turnout pro-equality voters in key swing states that will vote for pro-equality candidates up the ticket too. Donate today!

Thanks for standing with us,

LGBTQ Victory Fund has helped thousands of openly LGBTQ candidates win elections up and down the ballot, from sea to shining sea since our founding in 1991. We believe representation is power so we elected U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Kyrsten Sinema, Governors Jared Polis and Kate Brown, all seven LGBTQ members of U.S. Congress and countless candidates for state and local government, including Virginia Delegate Danica Roem, Colorado state Representative Leslie Herod and Pennsylvania Assemblymember Brian Sims. And with an unprecedented number of LGBTQ people running for office in this year, we’ll need your support to make 2020 the next Rainbow Wave.
