Panelists include New Yorker columnist Bill McKibben, ethics and climate justice expert Dr. Cynthia Moe-Lobeda, and Pastor Tommy Richter, whose Alaskan congregation experienced climate change firsthand.
Looking for something to do this weekend? ICYMI, we recently wrapped an incredible immigration book series featuring authors from NBC's Jacob Soboroff to the New Yorker's Jia Lynn Yang. All of the events are available to stream, so feel free to dive in or invite a few friends for a book club!
On Tuesday, October 27, our Building Hope for Change series continues with a virtual event in the Twin Cities. Join LIRS and special guest Mayor Regan Gonzalez of Richfield, MN to learn more about what you can do to make a difference in the lives of immigrants and refugees.
