John,
In a moment, I'm going to ask you to donate to Roy's campaign. I know you get a lot of fundraising requests, but this is different.
Since his first day in office, Roy has been fighting to make North Carolina a safe and prosperous state for everyone, not just a wealthy few.
Now Roy's opponent "No Plan Dan", a Trump candidate, is catching up to us in the polls, which means all of the progress we've made is on the chopping block!
We've got exactly 15 days until election day, and North Carolinians are already turning out to vote early in historically unprecedented numbers.
But here's the truth, John: We need to raise $400,000 in 15 days or our campaign won't have the funds necessary to compete and keep North Carolina on the path to progress.

It's no secret that national right-wing groups have been pouring money into the state, funding a flood of negative attack ads against us.
Thousands of North Carolinians are still undecided - and with just two weeks to go we need to reach out to those folks, plus encouraging those who haven't voted already to turn out. We can't let ourselves get complacent, John.
I crunched the numbers, and if we can raise $400,000 in our Path to Progress Victory Fund by election day, we'll be able to supercharge our TV and digital ads in the last two weeks of this campaign, driving as many people to the polls as possible in support of Roy!
I know that's a big goal, but we can't afford to fall short. A new poll released last week showed Trump and Biden tied in North Carolina, and our lead against Dan Forest cut in half - now, we're just outside the margin of error.
And with far-right groups spending MILLIONS of dollars on attack ads targeting Roy, hitting this goal will give us the resources to fight back and ensure we're dominating the airwaves in the lead up to the election day.
If you've been waiting to chip in, now's the time to do it, John. Any support you give during these last few weeks will have an outsized impact in mobilizing and persuading voters for Roy. Can we count on you to pitch in $25? >>

Cooper for NC
We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
