I’m about to run another round of debate prep with my team, but I wanted to check in quickly before I do.

 

Zeldin and his far-right allies at the NRCC, CLF, and AAN have been slandering me for weeks. They’re running TV and digital ads, sending direct mail to voters, and they’ve even put up two separate websites calling me “radical” Nancy Goroff. They are grasping at straws, but they are spending heavily, and if we can’t at least match them, then more people will hear their narrative than the truth.

 

With Republican PAC spending flooding our race, we’re preparing to make one last investment on our TV ads -- and we need to make it count.

 

As you and I both know, the pandemic has shown how important it is that we elect the right leaders, it has shown that elections really matter and directly impact our lives every single day.

 

Tonight I will hold Zeldin accountable for his hyper-partisan agenda, his unyielding support for this corrupt president, and his failure to care for all -- or even any -- of the Long Island families impacted by this public health crisis. But winning this debate will not be enough -- we need to beat him on the airwaves, where hundreds of thousands of voters will be tuning in.
