Rian Immigrant Center along with WBUR, The Brookline Booksmith and New England International Donors invites you to Solidary at Sea and on Land: Community Conversation with iuventa10 crew member Miguel Duarte.
The Iuventa is a search-and-rescue ship whose crew has rescued over 14,000 migrants on the Mediterranean Sea before the ship got seized by Italian authorities in 2017. For three years now, prosecutors have been building a criminal case against ten crew members, whom they accuse of aiding illegal migration.
