Hi John,

Outdoor education offers a powerful way to explore nature, connect (safely) with our communities, and understand our changing climate. This Friday, join Maine’s Nature-Based Education Consortium (NBEC) and Maine Environmental Education Association (MEEA) to learn about the state of nature-based education initiatives in Maine.

Amara Ifeji, Grassroots Development Coordinator for MEEA Changemakers and NBEC Communications Task Force Co-Chair and Steering Committee member, and Korah Soll , Founding Director of Rural Aspirations and NBEC Steering Committee member, will discuss how youth leadership and community collaborations are supporting an increase in Nature-based initiatives in schools and communities across the State.

I hope you’ll plan to join us on Friday as we cultivate a deeper understanding of nature-based education- You can REGISTER HERE [[link removed]] .

Warmly,

Will

P.S. I look forward to our Lunch & Learns each week and I hope you do, too! Check our website to watch recordings of past events [[link removed]] . As always, if you have any suggestions for future Lunch & Learn topics, please email me!
