Did you see last week’s email about NextGen America’s event celebrating the power of youth vote, friend?

On Tuesday October 20, Tom is going to be hosting an event, along with Sen. Chuck Schumer and Wisconsin Lt. Gov Mandela Barnes about the importance of the youth vote this election cycle.

As someone in their twenties, I’ve been so inspired by how millennials and Gen-Z have stepped up to the plate this election season. They’ve taken to the streets to protest for climate and racial justice, they’ve been spreading the importance of voting on Instagram and TikTok, and held political rallies in video games. This conversation will be about how we can capitalize on this energy to win this election.

The youth vote is more important than ever this year, and we have to do all we can to inspire and lift up these young people.

It’s going to be an incredible event.

Hope to see you there,

Casey

Hi there —

This year, there will be nearly as many eligible voters aged 18 to 35 as there are voters who are 65+ years old. They will serve as the key to swing votes in the election. If we want to see progressive victories across the country, we need to turnout the youth vote.

That’s exactly what NextGen America has been doing. *Join Tom next Tuesday, October 20,* for a conversation with the NextGen team and special guests Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Lt. Governor of Wisconsin Mandela Barnes. They will be talking about how important the youth vote is to flipping the Senate and swing states.

Today marks just three weeks until Election Day, but election season is already well underway. Tune in next week to learn more about NextGen America’s youth voter outreach program and the get-out-the-vote strategy for the remaining days. Plus, there will be a Q&A session, so come with any questions you have about the youth vote in the 2020 election.

See you then,

Team Tom
