Hi, John,

With so little time left until November’s election, I wanted to take a moment to remind you what I am fighting for and what is at stake in this race. 

Since the beginning of this campaign, I have been working towards one goal: to bring common sense leadership back to Southern California on behalf of the people of the 49th congressional district. There is a lot of uncertainty in the world right now, from concerns about healthcare, to when we can expect our children to go back to school. 

In times like these, we need steady leadership, not a radical agenda. We need a candidate dedicated to improving our healthcare system, not trying to dismantle it. I am focused on protecting and enhancing healthcare here in Southern California as well as making sure that it is reliable and available for everyone. I believe all Americans deserve access to quality healthcare, but not through a socialized Medicare approach.

I’m also running to make sure we apply a common sense approach to improving our environment. We are so fortunate to have the beautiful coastline that we do, and I want to make sure that we are protecting it so that our children and future generations can enjoy it. We can protect our coastline with pragmatic ideas — we don’t need to spend hundreds of billions of dollars reshaping our economy to do it.
