Drop off your ballot and save time
Friend,
Nevada had a great showing on the first day of early voting! So great,
that there were [ [link removed] ]very long lines at many vote centers around the state.
Something you may not know, is that if you are DROPPING OFF your mail
ballot, you DO NOT have to wait in line! The line is ONLY for those voting
IN-PERSON!
Also, if you or a voter you know is pregnant, has a disability, or a
chronic health condition (such as diabetes), that person may go to the
front of the in-person voting line!
To drop off your completed ballot, simply make your way inside the tent or
building to the check-in area at the vote center of choice. There, poll
workers will have you drop your ballot in the official collection box.
After that, you’re all set! No line, no hassle. And you’ll be doing your
part to keep wait times to a minimum! You can also track your ballot using
[ [link removed] ]BallotTrax by filling out your basic information so you can feel
confident your vote was counted.
You should’ve received your ballot in the mail. If you didn’t, call (702)
455-8683 for Clark County or (775) 328-3670 for Washoe County to find out
the status of your mail ballot. Ballot in hand, complete it by bubbling in
your selections with a black or blue ink pen, sign the return envelope and
seal it. You are now ready to drop off your ballot at ANY vote center in
your County, or designated government buildings. Note that vote center
schedules vary by day and location, so [ [link removed] ]use our voter guide to find
early vote and Election Day vote centers in your area.
We hope this tip saves you and your friends some time in casting your vote
this election!
Keep it up, Nevada!
