My name is April Lambert and I'm an organizer with the Pennsylvania Working Families Party.

I've always known that Pennsylvania was a swing state, but this year, it will likely be the tipping point state — deciding the fate of the election.

And for the first time ever, voters in Pennsylvania can now vote early! But what I've found in conversation with voters, is that many don't know this option is available to them this year.

That's why the PA Working Families Party team is working around the clock to reach out to voters, and ensure they know all their options to vote including voting early and by mail. We just launched a powerful video this week to get out the word that has spread far and wide on social media — and we're running phonebanks and text banks every day, sometimes twice a day until the election.

I know I don't have to tell you how high the stakes are in this election. With a background in social work, I was first compelled to organize because I was worried about my undocumented friends who have been under constant threat during the Trump administration. As a queer woman, these last four years I have seen constant attacks on my community. And as someone who has previously gone without health insurance, I know how important it is to preserve the Affordable Care Act, while also pushing further for Medicare for All.

I know our work won't be over after November. That's why I'm proud to throw down with the WFP, who is building progressive infrastructure in Pennsylvania for after the election, to continue fighting for the long haul.

But right now, we've got an election to win. Thanks to supporters like you, John, we've already made 600,000 calls and sent over 650,000 texts. And with your help, we can send even more.
