Be an October Voter: Return your ballot ASAP!
Did you request and receive a mail-in ballot? Fill it out, sign it, and return it as early as you can!

Dear NRDC Activist,
More than 17 million voters have already cast their ballots in this election — and today, I'm asking you to join them.
If you requested and received a mail-in ballot, or live in a state where you receive one automatically, please take just five minutes to VOTE today:
- Fill out your ballot as soon as you can
- Read and follow all the instructions to make sure your vote will count — and don't forget to sign the back of the envelope
- Mail it back (check if you need postage!) or find an official drop-off location
Right now, Trump is losing this election — he's down in the polls, the climate crisis is raging, COVID-19 has claimed 210,000 lives and counting, and he knows that if every eligible pro-environment voter turns out, he simply doesn't have the numbers to beat Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
That's why the Trump administration and its allies in Congress are doing everything they can to make voting difficult — especially in Black and Brown communities that are disproportionately affected by climate change and health-harming pollution.
So if you plan to vote by mail, please return your absentee ballot ASAP to make it as easy as possible for it to be counted. And if you've already done it, thank you! Now, please encourage your friends and family to do the same.
Voting by mail is safe and secure. In some states, you can even track your ballot online from the minute you return it to the minute it's received, verified, and counted. And if you don't want to send your ballot back through the mail, you can drop it off in person at a secure drop box or polling location.
There are so many reasons we need to defeat Donald Trump this year: Our climate ... our health ... our communities ... our democracy. Returning your ballot today brings us one step closer.
