Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight reports that Democrats are “favored to win the Senate.”
Democrats are so close to winning the 4 Senate seats we need -- but the truth is, that math gets a lot harder if Sara Gideon doesn’t win in Maine.
That’s why Mitch McConnell and the NRSC are doing everything they can to help Susan Collins — including a flurry of negative ads about Sara Gideon that they’re running in these final weeks. They know control of the Senate could come down to Maine so they will spare no expense.
