Hello,

“Last month, negotiations to lower prescription drug prices fell apart when the White House tried to force pharmaceutical companies to send $100 rebate cards to seniors,” the NY Daily News reports. “The companies saw the so-called ‘Trump cards’ idea as conscripting them into the re-election effort.”

But not all of Trump’s attempts at using taxpayer dollars for self-promotion have backfired before they could be implemented. Earlier this month, he managed to require millions of food aid boxes to go out with a personal letter stating, “As President, safeguarding the health and well-being of our citizens is one of my highest priorities.” The irony is that these food boxes will go out to those who’ve been most affected by his failed coronavirus response.

Trump knows he’s en route to lose this November, and he’s desperately flailing his executive power to sway voters with just weeks to go until the election.

But political veteran Nate Silver has warned us not to count Trump out just yet, stating that his dwindling reelection chances could make him dangerous, and Silver said, “It’s not hard to imagine him escalating his anti-democratic rhetoric” to hold on to power. We’re standing with Silver because we know that, just like in 2016, the polls might not account for Trump’s “silent” supporters. And as we perfect our voter outreach strategy, it’s crucial we know where you stand:

Do you support Donald Trump?
