We've been warning for years that Republicans are attempting to repeat the same play they ran in 2010: sweep state legislatures so they can draw maps behind closed doors that allow them to maintain power for a decade.

Now, the president of the Kansas Senate has been caught ON TAPE bragging about this strategy to donors.

Friend, the GOP is hoping that, even if they lose the presidency, they can rely on gerrymandering to ensure a Republican majority in Congress. Then, they'll obstruct a Biden/Harris administration at every turn. This has always been the plan -- but now, they're openly admitting it.

Republicans are going all in on this strategy by pouring millions into state legislative races across the country. If we want to stop them, we have to catch up by investing more in battleground states.
