I have some good news: the fundraising numbers are in, and we successfully outraised Jaime Herrera Beutler last quarter!

Though our Republican opponent took $192,000 from corporate PACs, including fossil fuel companies, our grassroots campaign to elect Carolyn pulled in about $100,000 more from July through September. That’s people-power , and that’s the way we do things around here!

This campaign is by the people of Southwest Washington, for the people of Southwest Washington. It’s Carolyn’s mission to be an independent voice for the people she represents and their best interests, not a politician bought and bossed by corporations like Herrera Beutler.

This news paired with the fact that we’re behind just two points in the polls proves that we have what it takes to Flip the 3rd and send Carolyn to Congress on November 3, but the unfortunate truth is that online fundraising has really taken a hit since September ended.

Now that the National Republican Congressional Committee is spending $1.3 million in ads attacking Carolyn in these final two and a half weeks before Election Day , it’s all the more urgent that we boost our online fundraising again and keep the momentum up until the last moment.
