John, Election Day is just 17 days from now - it's practically here. Voting is underway in Ohio and many places around the country. In the time that we have remaining, we have a lot of work to do and important goals to meet if we're going to take the House from Nancy Pelosi , re-elect President Donald Trump, and keep my home state of Ohio - a key swing state where polls showing a tightening race - RED. Yesterday, my team sent you an email laying out the number of donations we need to find to keep our campaign fully funded between now and Election Day. My team tells me that from here on out, we need to 1,129 donations PER DAY. Our goal this weekend is to put a big dent in that number, so we have doubled the number of daily donations needed to 2,258 for today and tomorrow. Can we count on you to be one of the donors we need today in order to not fall behind this early in October?
We have built a movement together that will be a force to be reckoned with over the coming months and years - however, our first test comes in less than one month and right now we can't compete with national Democrat's cash advantage.
