Hi friend --
According to a new SimplyWise survey, 63% of Americans feel good about the future of Social Security under Joe Biden, whereas only 44% feel the same way if Trump is re-elected.
Americans have a right to be concerned -- the current president has ordered that Social Security’s main source of funding, payroll taxes, be deferred until the end of the year. After his order, Trump made a campaign promise: if he’s re-elected, the cuts to Social Security funding would be made permanent.
Nancy Altman, president of Social Security Works, put it simply: “If you terminate the funding, you terminate the program.”
We refuse to see Social Security terminated. We’re taking a stand, now, to protect the 65 million Americans who rely on the program to get by. If you’re worried for the future of Social Security, demand it be defended from Trump’s blind greed. Add your name to ours by answering now:
Do you oppose Trump’s attack on Social Security?
Thank you for your response,
