Hey -- it's Patrick, Lizzie's finance director. I've been checking our fundraising numbers and campaign spending even more frequently than usual, and let me tell you why:
Our opponent, Washington Republicans, and GOP outside groups are funneling more than $8 million into our race. They launched a new ad with the same old lies again today. I need to make sure we have the funds to respond to all of the attacks and set the record straight for voters. And since the polls are open and people are voting-- it is critical we get our message out!

We recently released two new TV ads! The ads get our message out to the widest possible audience and are essential to setting Lizzie's real record out for voters. I need to make sure we have the resources to keep them up on the air.

There are only 17 days left until Election Day. We are breaking records here in Harris County, but that also means we have to make sure we are talking to everyone we can in every way we can. We need to make the most every single day.
We set a Flash Weekend Goal of $10,000 to make sure we have the resources to execute our field organization and outreach plan before Election Day. If you can afford to contribute, please make a contribution before the deadline tomorrow.
