Dear John ,

As new lockdowns start or look set to soon, we know we don't have a working test and trace system to get control this virus. But as they had their WORST week YET on contact tracing, Serco's share prices went UP as their contracts for contact tracing were renewed.

This is a scandal! They can't just get away with this. Today, share the news with everyone you know.

Many of us are worried about the next few months, as our lives have been thrown into uncertainty yet again.

According to the latest figures, the private company call centre operations are reaching just 62.6% of close contacts. They've achieved new lows for two weeks in a row.

However, they decided to do an unscheduled trading update saying revenue was in the BILLIONS, and 'We believe that our operational delivery has been outstanding'. Our jaws dropped.

Their predictions have gone to up to £165 million in profits!

There's so much attention on this issue right now that the government will be feeling the pressure.

We can help by showing our outrage. Share this shocking news far and wide: Serco are profiting from their failure to keep communities in England safe from this virus.

Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have contract tracing run by public health teams, which is great. In the UK, it's only England that invited inexperienced Serco, known for their innumerable failures, to take on crucial track and trace work. Wherever you are, you sharing this story is hugely appreciated.

We know that only a tidal wave of noise will move this government.

And that's what you're creating. While your actions may seem small, you're helping to shift this debate, showing what privatisation of our health services looks like in practice: bad services run for profit, not people.

The public purse is being robbed and syphoned off into the hands of the wealthy while local teams struggle to resource contact tracing that is far more effective!

Thank you for sharing this scandal on Facebook and Twitter
