As we navigate the second half of 2020, many Americans are feeling a sense of uncertainty about the state of our democracy and the well-being of our nation, communities, families and the economy. As we make our way through the COVID-19 pandemic and amidst a racial uprising, issues that communities of color face have only been exacerbated.

During this time of uncertainty, Advancement Project National Office is joining with BlackPAC, Higher Heights for America, National Women's Law Center and The League to create a safe and trusted space for Black women to be in community and conversation.

Black women are the defenders of our home, community and country and are prepared to lead in the moment. Advancement Project National Office Executive Director Judith Browne Dianis co-hosts The Sip Hour's Sunday Brunch discussion that encourages Black women to stay informed, engaged, take action and practice self-care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We know that voting is an important way to advance our fight against systemic racism. But the ongoing pandemic has created significant challenges in getting out the vote, challenges made even worse by opportunistic and racist government officials who are leveraging this crisis to make voting more complicated and less accessible to Black and Brown people.

That's where you come in.

Check out our Election 2020 Resources for messaging, fact sheets, toolkits, memes and more! It is critically important we help people understand their options, and whatever they choose, make sure they know how to navigate every potential obstacle to successfully casting their ballot. Our resource guide does just that.
