I’ve been watching my colleagues question Amy Coney Barrett, and I am dismayed.

Beyond the illegitimate nature of this nomination itself, Justice Coney Barrett refused to answer a question from my friend Amy Klobuchar on if voter intimidation is against the Constitution (Spoiler alert: it is) and recuse herself from any election-related cases.

We also know that dark-money groups have spent years spending millions of dollars in unreported money to get a justice just like Amy Coney Barrett confirmed to the Supreme Court.

If we fail to take back the Senate this November, our highest courts will cater to the will of these conservative groups for years to come, with their endless vaults of untraceable cash stopping any and all legislative process.

We can’t afford any more of Mitch McConnell’s obstruction, stonewalling, and erosion of our most basic democratic norms and principles.
