Cal Cunningham finally broke his silence. |
He doesn’t want his affairs that are being investigated by the U.S. Army Reserves to be part of this election. He said “his campaign isn’t about [his] personal life.” |
Cal has based his entire campaign on his personal life. He won’t tell voters where he stands on the issues. Instead, he’s solely running on being respectable and having integrity -- and now he has neither. |
Meanwhile, my husband is a man of integrity, humility, and honor who has always done what he believes is right for the people of North Carolina. |
While voters hear about Cunningham’s scandals on TV, I want to get my husband’s very first ad back on the air telling the story of his humble roots and good character. |
The worst thing we could do right now is think that this election is now over. |
Schumer has raised $80 million to save this race for Cunningham on top of the $23 million Cal raised on his own last quarter. |
With over a hundred million dollars combined, they will flood the airwaves with ads to try and distract from Cunningham’s growing scandals. |
The attacks against my husband will only get worse. |
That’s why this is the most important moment for our campaign. We cannot assume this race is over. |
We must fight until the final vote is cast. |
