John — It’s no secret that Jerry Sheridan’s record of corruption and incompetence makes him unfit to serve Maricopa County.

In fact, it was recommended he be fired after he was found in contempt of court for knowingly disobeying court orders and making misstatements under oath. Sheridan most likely would have lost his badge from the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board if not for his friends recusing themselves to save him! Sheridan’s friends delayed the hearing to determine whether or not he would lose his credentials and then recused themselves, which allowed Sheridan’s peace officer certification to expire rather than be stripped.

Over the last few years of the 100+ cases that went before the Board, only one was dropped. Guess who? Jerry Sheridan. That’s the bottom line — Jerry Sheridan is a corrupt cop whose credentials were saved by his pals.

We need a Sheriff who we can trust to keep our communities safe. That is not Jerry Sheridan. Can you chip in to Sheriff Penzone’s re-election fund now?

To be frank, if Sheridan applied for a law enforcement job anywhere else, he would be denied for lying to the court and because of his abhorrent record under Joe Arpaio.

Sheridan was held in contempt and lied to the court. Even though he was able to shield his certification from scrutiny, that is more than enough to disqualify him from being the Sheriff of Maricopa County.

There’s only one clear candidate fit to be our Sheriff. One who is immensely qualified and has proved his competence in keeping our community safe. Can you chip in $25 or more right now to re-elect Sheriff Penzone?
