We are witnessing the dying gasps of the fossil fuel industry and the unfolding of a just transition.

We are also witnessing an unprecedented, multi-racial, multi-generational movement of climate activists who are demanding their voices be heard in this election.

A global pandemic, widespread climate chaos, and voter suppression efforts are not going to stop us from being heard in November.

We are in an epic battle to avoid a planet we don't recognize and a democracy in name only. And these next few weeks are a major part of that battle.

That is why I am asking you to chip in, so we can continue growing our movement and fighting for a safe and just future for our planet, both ahead of the November election and beyond:

In order to protect our democracy and planet, we must fight for the right to vote. We must drum up pressure and show our leaders that voters care about environmental issues. And since our vote is our voice, we must speak up now or risk losing it.

Let me be explicitly clear — when we demand clean air in California, and clean water in Detroit, when we rise to protect our lands, when we put our bodies on the line to stop the fossil fuel industry from inciting more hurricanes, more wildfires, more floods, more oil spills that ravage our homes and communities, when we dream of our future and our grandchildren's future, we will ensure our movement is heard.

But if we are going to create the rapid transformation we need to defeat the fossil fuel industry, if we are going to build a movement that is massive, one that shakes the foundations of power, money and greed that seem to hold all the cards right now, it's going to take all of us coming together. So I am asking:
