We want to air this [ [link removed] ]TV ad starring a Kentucky gun owner in Houston
tomorrow -- the night of the presidential debate --to pressure Republican
Senate leader Mitch McConnell to act on an assault weapon ban. Tons of
reporters will be on the scene. [ [link removed] ]Can you help?

McConnell is under major pressure. Today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made
headlines saying "People are dying because Sen. McConnell hasn’t acted."

We can [ [link removed] ]turn up the heat on McConnell. Especially if guns come up in the
debate, reporters need to remember who is blocking progress. We aired an
ad at the last debate. Hundreds of national reporters saw it and one
exclaimed, "That was a hell of an ad!"

[ [link removed] ]The cost to air this TV ad on network TV in Houston (ABC) the night of
the debate is $3,000. Can you chip in $30 (or $3) toward airing the ad
tomorrow night? (Click [ [link removed] ]here to watch the ad and donate.)

We first made this TV ad in 2013 after the Sandy Hook school shooting as
part of a series of ads featuring gun owners who support reform. Sadly,
these TV ads are still applicable today -- with the only update being
McConnell's now taken $671,347 from the gun lobby, up from $198,615 when
we first aired these TV ads.

The TV ads changed the national dialogue and were covered nationally by
CNN, The Washington Post, ABC, CBS, Roll Call, Yahoo News, TPM, Huffington
Post, and others. In Kentucky, the Louisville Courier Journal, local NBC,
local FOX, The Leo Weekly, the Associated Press, and others covered them.

They are just as powerful today -- maybe even more so because they show
how long McConnell has been blocking gun reform for the gun industry.

night? (Click [ [link removed] ]here to watch the ad and donate.)

Thanks for being a bold progressive.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told PCCC members, "The majority of Americans are with us on the policies. Americans support Medicare for All, expanding Social Security benefits, gun reform, debt-free college, and a $15 minimum wage. Bold progressive values are popular EVERYWHERE. Together, we have the people. Together, with your help, we’ll have the votes." Chip in $3 here: [link removed]
