This isn’t the news I was hoping to share with you this weekend.

My team and I just walked through the numbers and it’s clear we have not caught up to our missed fundraising goal — endangering our efforts to take back the Senate and stop Republicans from flipping Minnesota red in just 17 days.

I’ll be honest, this budget crisis is coming at the worst time. Our lead in the polls has shrunk. Donald Trump’s personal attacks on me are working. And two GOP dark money groups spent nearly $1 million to defeat us.
