Sorry to email you on a Friday afternoon, but Josh just texted me to let me know that we’re less than $2,000 away from our October mid-month fundraising goal. I have to ask, John: Are you able to rush a donation to my campaign of any amount -- $5, $15, whatever works -- before midnight?

I’m not joking when I say that we’re counting every last dollar in the bank, John. If we fall even a couple grand short this month, we’re going to have to reassess the final steps of our path to victory -- and that could be the difference in winning or losing this race in November.
