Folks, there’s only one candidate running for Texas’ 23rd district who would
be beholden to the gun lobby in Congress,and that's Tony Gonzales.

Over the last couple of months, my opponent accepted thousands of dollars from
the NRA.

Four of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history have occurred here in
Texas, including the largest massacre of Latinos on American soil, which
happened right outside of TX-23 in El Paso. Texans can’t afford a
representative who won't stand up to the gun lobby and fight against gun
violence to keep our communities safe.

Americans overwhelmingly support common-sense gun safety laws, like universal
background checks. The lack of action by our elected representatives is a
leadership issue, which means there's something we can do about it -- elect
leaders who will stand up to the NRA and gun lobby. I don't take corporate PAC
money, because unlike my opponent, I'm running to serve the people of Texas'
23rd district, not special interests.

Take a moment to listen to how important this issue is to me and what I will
do to help put an end to gun violence in Texas and America, and then chip in
$20 to send me to Congress to fight for our communities.
