The $500,000 in funding comes comes from the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund and will be distributed by A for Arizona through its Expansion and Innovation Fund. The dollars will support the creation of effective small learning models and community partnerships that target students and families in need.Â

Arizona To Host 2026 NCAA Women’s Final Four
Governor Ducey this week applauded the NCAA Women’s Basketball selection of Phoenix to host the 2026 Women’s Final Four. This will be the first time Arizona hosts the tournament, which has not been held out West since 2012.
IKEA US Community Foundation Donates To AZ Coronavirus Relief Fund
The IKEA US Community Foundation donated $1,147,083 to the fund, supporting families, medical professionals and those in need. The amount was chosen by the foundation purposely to align with the amount IKEA employees in Arizona collected in unemployment insurance benefits when the company closed stores and furloughed employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.Â
