John — Jerry Sheridan wrote a glowing letter of recommendation for a bad officer... a known bad officer and one that he had a personal connection to. His wife did business with the officer’s girlfriend.

This officer was not only on the Brady list (a list that contains names of peace officers who have had sustained incidents of untruthfulness placing their credibility into question), but to make matters worse his misconduct included having sex with three victims of separate crimes he was assigned to investigate between 2012 and 2016.

The kicker? In his letter, Sheridan praised this officer for “his reputation as a tireless and skilled investigator."

This is inexcusable.

Maricopa County should have a higher standard for its top law enforcement officer. Chip in now to make sure that Sheriff Penzone gets re-elected in less than three weeks. →

Those who are charged with protecting our community should have the highest ethical standard and should have a known record of doing the right thing.

Jerry Sheridan’s judgement is morally compromised by his decision to leave a glowing review for one of his former officer’s with a disgusting record of misconduct.

Jerry Sheridan is corrupt to the core and can't be trusted to lead ethically. Chip in to support Sheriff Penzone and keep moving Maricopa County in the right direction.
