I'm reaching out with an important ask today -- one that could help us flip the Senate this November. In these final weeks, the Senate map is rapidly expanding as working people across this country become more and more fed up with Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell.

Mike Espy is a fantastic candidate. I served alongside him in the House of Representatives when he was the first African American congressman from Mississippi since the Reconstruction era.
He has dedicated his career to public service and fighting for working people. He has been the Assistant Secretary of State in Mississippi, and he was the first African American Secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture.
He has a bold vision for Mississippi that will bring thousands of new jobs, expand Medicaid so that all Mississippians can access affordable health care, and push for innovative solutions that support investment and development in our rural communities.
Mike understands that the fight for our planet is an existential one. He knows Mississippi's public lands are at risk -- from the Delta to the Gulf to Lake Puskus. He will be a critical voice in the Senate as we fight for environmental justice for our frontline communities.
And defeating his opponent would be a major victory. Her campaign follows the Trump playbook of using racism to divide us. You may recall her comments in 2018 when she refused to apologize for "joking" that she'd sit in the front row of a public hanging.
She has no business being in the Senate, and with your help, Mike Espy can make sure we defeat her.
