This week, we added The San Francisco Examiner to our long list of endorsers for Proposition D!

With their support, all major San Francisco newspapers have endorsed our measure including The San Francisco Chronicle, The San Francisco Bay Guardian, The Bay Area Reporter, and Sing Tao Daily.

As the Examiner wrote, “Prop. D would create an independent body and agency and enshrine them both in city law to ensure those reforms are maintained by future sheriffs. For this reason, we are recommending a Yes vote.”

It is imperative that we take every step to overhaul the systemic racism that is embedded in our criminal justice system, and that starts with holding our local Sheriff’s Department accountable.
