It’s been a pleasure to serve alongside my good friend Tina Smith in the United States Senate. We’ve worked together on a number of bills to tackle racial injustices in policing and strengthen our public health workforce. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply she cares about the issues affecting Minnesotans and how tirelessly she fights for them in Congress.
But here's the problem: As Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell has cared more about packing the courts with conservative judges than working on a coronavirus relief package. That’s why it’s critical we flip the Senate this November, so we can get things done for American families.
We can only do that though if we protect incumbents like Tina. Right now, the GOP is going after her — spending millions on ads in Minnesota. If they succeed, the path back to the Senate majority becomes much more difficult.
Minnesota is a must-win state for Democrats in order to flip the Senate and defeat Donald Trump. And a new poll shows Tina only has a slim, single-digit lead. Can you chip in $5 to re-elect my good friend Senator Tina Smith and take back the Senate for Democrats in November?
